Born and raised in Chicago, Jillian is a leader, collaborator, and youth advocate with over 10+ years in the arts and education landscape. She has been a CPS student, a teacher, a theatre teaching artist, and a non-profit admin. She is passionate about creating equitable and inclusive spaces for young people that foster big ideas and beautiful stories. Jillian was raised by a dancer and a drummer, but she found her home in theatre where she can “act” like she has any rhythm. She loves thrifting, emo music, and petting puppies. Jillian loves to explore her city and travel to new ones and has been known to get in arguments about the real “Chicago Style” pizza (it’s thin crust cut tavern-style).
